EU leaders gathered recently for a summit on Europe’s migration policy. The aim? To come to a common point and allow the implementation of a Europe-wide policy that would offer support to EU countries now bearing the brunt of the migration influx, such as Italy and Greece, and to put pressure on central European countries to play a more active role in the processing of migrants and refugees. Talks lasted all night and a deal was agreed despite contentions. The question is, will this make a positive difference?
